The driving force behind these drawings was fear, the fear felt by many women, who are the first to be exposed to the violence of the world.
I love them, and I wanted to be faithful to their courage and beauty by drawing them with great care on paper as humble as it is delicate, mounted on frames, so that these drawings are fragile monuments erected in their honor.
Surrounding them are objects, plastic waste, evoking what is degrading the entire world.
